Mary E. Ellison

Childersburg, AL - Funeral service for Mary E. Ellison, 85, will be Friday, April 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Childersburg Church of Christ with Mike Ray officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens in Childersburg, AL.

Mrs. Ellison died Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud & Cordelia Hobbs, husband, Lonnie Ellison, brother, Claude "Buddy" Hobbs, Jr., and daughter, Claudia Denise Scott.

She is survived by her son, Lonnie Dale Ellison; six grandchildren, Stephen Ellison, DJ Ellison, Ricky Ellison, Shawn Gill, Shane Gill, Dawn McIntyre; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty H. Thomas.

Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Childersburg Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be DJ Ellison, Ricky Ellison, Shawn Gill, Shane Gill, Kevin Thomas and Terrance "TurtL" McIntyre.
