Sylacauga, AL. - Linda Waites Brown, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at her residence in Fayetteville, Alabama.
Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jimmy L. Brown; two daughters, Angie Brown, Rhonda Vanzant; three grandchildren, Lucas Sims, Colton Clifton (Allison), Zach Brown; Great Granddaughter Ellie Mae Clifton; two sisters, Debbie Denty (Frank), Patty Davenport (Dallas); and her brother Steve Waites.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Jessie Waites.
She attended and was a member of Fayetteville Methodist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and nanny. She was happy being the center of their lives. Anyone who knew them knew that she was the “star” in their eyes. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Her life was a blessing and her memory will forever be a treasure.
A visitation for Linda will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Fayetteville Methodist Church, 5441 Old Fayetteville Rd., Sylacauga, Alabama 35151, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. John Limbaugh officiating.
Linda will be laid to rest in Fayetteville Methodist Church Cemetery, 5441 Old Fayetteville Rd., Sylacauga, Alabama 35151.
Pallbearers will be Lucas Sims, Colton Clifton, Zach Brown, Matt Hill, Paul Matherson and Timmy Burks.
