John Aaron Pruitt

Mr. John Aaron Pruitt age 73 of Alpine passed away at Coosa Valley Medical Center on November 2, 2011. Funeral Services for Mr. Pruitt will be on Saturday November 5, 2011 at 11AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Visitation will be on Friday November 4, 2011 from 5-8PM. Burial will be in Tallassahatchie Cemetery. Survivors are Wife of 50 years; Jean Pruitt of Alpine, Daughter; Vicky (David) Kissic of Alpine, Brothers; Ted (Judy) Pruitt of Wetumpka, Jeff (Gail) Pruitt of Sylacauga, Sisters; Jane (Doug) Grizzell of Trussville, Sharon Parker of Alpine, Grandchildren; Amy Kissic, Daniel Kissic. Great Grandchild; A Great part of his heart was his Great Grandson Jakobe Williams. His special Buddy, great nephew Jacab Pruitt. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Also many more family and friends. Mr. Pruitt was a lifelong member of Tallassahatchie First Baptist Church. He retired from the Talladega County Board of Education after 31 years of service. Besides being a skilled carpenter, he loved gardening and enjoyed giving his Vegetables to family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by his parents Chester and Agnes Pruitt and brother, Maurice Pruitt. Curtis and Son North Chapel will direct the service.
