James Marvin Maxwell was born May 19, 1941 to Calvin and Olive Maxwell of Grassmere, Al. He married the love of his life Shirley Jo Gold out of high school and they were married 62 years. He served in the Air Force as a mechanic and loved to tell the stories from his time in the service especially the one where he lost a B-52. He retired from Kimberly Clark and was proud of his time there in the Sulfate department. He loved his family and enjoyed getting together for reunions. He was proud of the accomplishments of his granddaughter Shelby in the Education field. He always enjoyed watching his grandson Payne play ball and was proud of the man he had become. He looked forward to hearing about the progress his grandson Lukas was making. He was so thrilled to meet his great grandson Roman when he was born. He enjoyed jokes and pulling pranks on his family and friends. He loved to tell stories about his brothers and sister growing up out in the country.
