Mr. George Richard Johnston age 90 of Sylacauga, Al passed away on March 13, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Funeral Services for Mr. Johnston will be on Wednesday March 16, 2016 at 11AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Visitation will be on Tuesday March 15, 2016 from 5-7PM at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Rodney Frost will be officiating the service. Survivors are Daughters:Sue Ellen Johnston and Husband Mike Gray, Roxanne Kelly and Husband Don Grandchildren: Ryan Johnson, Brooke Johnson, Ian Hibbs.Great Grandchildren: 2. Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Johnston, Daughter; Marilyn Hibbs. He was a member of Oldfield United Methodist Church for over 60 years. He retired from Kimberly Clark with 40 years of service. Mr. Johnston was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy.
