Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Douglas B. Wright, 71, will be Friday, December 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Joe Camp officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
Mr. Wright died Monday, November 27, 2017 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin and Georgia Mae Wright. Mr. Wright was known for his love of playing the piano and watching old movies.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Michelle Wright; two daughters, Bonnie Gail Pate and Laura; two sons, Michael and Patrick; two brother-in-law's, Eric Hurt and Brandon (Paula) Hurt; nephew, Stephen (Angie) Wright; and niece, Leslie Wright.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
