Sylacauga, AL - David Michael Barron, 45, died August 7, 2021 at Coosa Valley Medical Center due to complications from Covid.
He was born December 8, 1975 to Bill and Sue Barron. David graduated from Sylacauga High School in 1994 and attended Central Alabama Community College and UAB. He was employed by Ebix in Birmingham as an account manager for 20 years. David married the love of his life, Julie Smith Barron on April 11, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Smith Barron; daughter, Taylor (Colton) Short; two sons, Landon Barron, Caymen Barron; granddaughter, Addi Short; parents, Bill and Sue Barron; sister, Jillian (Clay) Crownover; sister-in-law, Katie (Dustin) McCullun; brother-in-law, Jonathan (Kristen) Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews that he adored.
He was a dedicated member of Church of the Highlands where he served in multiple capacities. He truly loved the Lord and would share his faith with anyone. A member of Red Eagle Gun Club, Alabama Skeet Shooting Association, Talladega County 4 H, and Theta Chi Fraternity.
The family request no flowers, contributions may be sent to Sylacauga High School Fishing Team, attn: Justin Browning; Talladega County 4 H, 132 Court Street N. Talladega, AL 35160; Church of the Highlands Giving Hope; or The Feral Dogs of Avondale Mills and friend of Sylacauga Animal Shelter.
A memorial service will be held at Red Eagle Gun Club at a later date.
