Dan E. Bennett, 76, of Westover, AL., passed away on Friday, December 18th in his home surrounded by his wife and daughters.
There will be no official funeral services held at this time, per his request but a remembrance gathering is to be announced later. He will be laid to rest at The Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
Dan the Man or Big Daddy was born March 22, 1944. He was honored to serve in the Army for 32 years. After retirement, he was an avid NASCAR fan and a very active APA ranked pool player.
Dan is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret S. Bennett. His daughters Dana Bennett Ingber and Sonja Kelley Bennett. His brothers Michael Bennett and Jim Bennett. Daniel Ingber and granddaughters Haley Ingber and Madison Ingber.
