Charles H Hosey

Childersburg, AL - Charles H. Hosey, born May 24, 1930 and died April 16, 2022. Visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Talladega Springs Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Forbus officiating.

He was the son of Cecil and Lizzy Hosey of Marble Vallley.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Virginia Hosey; his three daughters, Jennifer Maddox (Bruce), Karen Tubbs (Johnny), Lori Slay (Rusty); 6 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren, Kellie Lansford, Clint Maddox, Josh Tubbs, Jake Tubbs, Chelsea Slay, Carlee Slay, Amy Smith and Kerri Anderson; 5 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren, Morgan Lansford, Cole Lansford, Ramsey Lansford, Kai Tubbs, Jessie Tubbs, Michael Polland, Caleb Polland and Abigail Polland; niece, Liz Lawson (Steve); nephew, Charles Stafford (Vicki); sisters in law, Annette McGrady and Debbie Haisten.

He was precedded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lizzy Hosey; one brother Henry Hosey; and three sisters, Lorena Butler, Mary Tuck and Edna Stafford.

Mr. Hosey retired from Kimberly Clark after 35 years of employment.
