Virginia was one of those people you love immediately. Always smiling, sociable and someone who raised a great family. We send our thoughts, prayers and love to you all.

Virginia joined us doing the breakfast program at Shipyard Elementary School; that was more than a few years ago. She was with us a substantial period of our time at the school. While there, we celebrated her 75th birthday. We became like part of her family, and ours, hers. She had an endearing personality, and it formed the basis of our lifelong friendship. We enjoyed the very special time spent with her on those mornings as did the students we served. She will not be forgotten. In your memory Virginia, R.I.P.

Very sorry to see Virginia's obituary.  I used to stop at their store on my way to St. Joseph's School to buy inexpenive candy or pepsi and chips,  and she and Josephine were always so kind to me  for many years. Although we all grow older as time passes, some memories are better than  others and, where we , the MacInnis family did not have much in the way of money, she treateed us with respect and friendliness all the time, and this was very much appreciated.
