Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in hospital after a brief illness. Born in Sydney January 25, 1929m she was the cherished daughter of Winnnand Frances and Michael Cashen.
Teresa spent 83 years in Sydney before moving to Halifax, where she lived for 12 years. In her later years, she resided at Saint Vincent Nursing Home where she received loving care until her passing.
Teresa is predeceased by her loving husband, Alphonse Fagan; her son, James Fagan; and her grandson, James Woodrow. She is survived by her devoted family, Brenda Woodrow (Jim), Dartmouth, Bob Fagan, Bedford, Paul Fagan (Marie) Bedford, Catherine Fagan, Halifax, Alan Fagan (Annette), Sydney, David Fagan, Edmonton AB, Brian Fagan (Lisa), Stillwater Lake; and her brother Frank McNutt, Truro
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Terri Lindsey, Michael Fagan, Natalie Fagan, Emily Fagan, and Lauren Fagan, and a doting great-grandmother to Ann and James.
Theresa and her husband Alphonse co-owned and operated Fagan's Dairy o Davenport Road for 10 years. She later dedicated her career to caring for others at MacGillivray Guest Home until her retirement. Her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family will always be remembered. May she rest in peace, reunited with her beloved husband, son , and grandson, and forever cherished by those who loved her.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 24, 7-9 p.m. at TW Curry Parkview Chapel, 755 George Street, Sydney. A funeral will be held October 25th at 10 a.m. at TW Curry Parkview Chapel with a reception to follow.
