It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our Mom and Gram, Mary Victoria Paul, 72, of Eskasoni, on December 10, 2017.

Born in Barra Head, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Annie (Marshall) Paul.

Mary was a wonderful, caring mother and grandmother, who always had an open door for her kids and grandkids and always greeted them with hugs and kisses.

She is survived by her children; Paul Francis (Beverly), Lorne Francis, Constance Francis, Lester Francis, Glen Francis, Amanda (Cyril Julian) Francis and Annie Francis, 27 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, sisters Pauline (late Charlie) Morris and Madeline (Adrian) Morris.

Mary was predeceased by loving partner of 23 years James Joe, son Vernon Francis, daughters Audrey and Lorinda Francis, infant son Joseph Francis, brothers Nicholas and Edward Paul and Andrew Johnson.

Visitation will begin 7 pm on Thursday, December 14 at the Gabriel Center, Eskasoni. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 16 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Church with Fr. Martin MacDougall officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery, Eskasoni.
