It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, Margaret (nee LeBlanc) Hutt in her 90th year on Thursday, April 6, 2023 in Sydney. Margaret was born in Whitney Pier on May 7, 1933 to the late Joe and Gladys (nee Tutty) LeBlanc. She spent her life living between Cape Breton and Toronto. She was always trying to help everyone and spent many years of her working life as a celebrated caregiver.
Baking was her love language. She always had baked goods ready for anyone who stopped by. She was the family historian, who loved to read, play crib and tell stories and jokes that would have everyone in stitches.
Margaret will be deeply missed by her children Bill (Dale), Joe (Kathy), Glady Hutt, Keith (Nancy) and Faith Chaves. Her 13 grandchildren had a special place in her heart Sherri, Crystal, April, Elissa, Daniel, Andrew, Chris, June, Charlene, Vanessa, Matthew, Candace and Cara. Her 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandbaby, as well as her sisters-in-law Grace and Wendy and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Margaret was predeceased by her siblings Beatrice, Robert, Keith and Mary.
She loved her pets and will be missed by her dog Jack.
