Florence Marie Theriault

Born and raised in Point Aconi, she was a daughter of the late Rod and Florence Beaton.

Marie was a soft spoken and gentle soul, who enjoyed absolutely everything. She was a fabulous homemaker and a caring, loving mother, who raised four wonderful children. After raising her children, Marie enjoyed 10 years working for Walmart.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years, Gerald; daughters, Edith (Gord) Skinner, Halifax and Helen (Justin) Theriault, Calgary, AB; sons, Ernest, Bermuda and Michael, Montreal; grandsons, Brett and Ryan Skinner; granddaughter, Lily Theriault; sisters, Theresa (Ed), Serroul, North Sydney, Margie Sheppard, Edmonton, AB, Marlene, Dartmouth, Maureen and Rose both of Ontario; brother, Sammy, ON; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings, Anne Louise, Mary Julie, John, Brad and Kaye.

Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Sydney River. Rev. Duaine Devereaux will officiate.
