Edward ‘Eddie’ Mrazek, travelling hardware salesman, world’s best husband, father, and grandfather, dancer extraordinaire, expert mall-walker, and a true gentleman, passed away peacefully on December 26th, 2022.
Born in Whitney Pier, Nova Scotia, and oldest of 5 children, Eddie was predeceased by his loving wife, Florence Mrazek, his daughter, Deborah Mrazek, his son, Derek Mrazek, and his parents Ernest and Amelia ‘Nellie’ Mrazek.
He is survived by his brothers Ernie Mrazek and Lemuel Falt, and sisters Dorothy and Bernadette Mrazek, his children Eddie Jr. Mrazek, Teresa (Roger) Mullins, and Kenneth Mrazek, his daughter-in-law Barbara Mrazek, and his grandchildren Troy Mrazek, Courtney (Brandon) Mrazek, Samantha Mrazek, Evan Mullins, Sashia Mrazek, Kendall Mrazek, Travis Mrazek, and Madison Mrazek, and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on January 3rd from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Sydney, at 11am on January 4th. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed via TW Curry's facebook page.
