Donald-We were so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was such a fine man who enjoyed his life especially his outdoor adventures. Donnie was such a good friend to Charlie and he will certainly be missed. We all enjoyed his visits and chats. Our sincere condolences to all the family.

I remember Don very well. He was a good friend of the MacLeods/Bert and Donnie owners of MacLeods Bookstore on Charlotte St. We would see him frequently in the store, a Very nice gentleman. I also knew Kelly and Morgan. Kelly was an amazing Mom. Take care.

I was sorry to hear of Donnie’s passing. He was a fine man with whom I share a love for the Highlands. We had many a pleasant conversation on the shore of Wreck Cove Lake. My sympathies to his family.

Donald, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. He would stop by for a cup of tea and a slice of homemade bread and would tell us of his recent trips to the highlands. Always had some adventurous stories of his fishing and hunting . Frankie and I always loved his company. Always made us laugh.

It brought me much joy and comfort to know that my grandaughter Amanda was blessed to have Don and Cissy as her paternal grandparents. I hope they knew the true impact they had on her life. She inherited her gentle ways and carefree additude from them. She will miss her Papa Don for sure but will always have the lifetime of memories to hold close to her heart. We are all better people for knowing you Don and you will be missed very  much
