Bill was an avid fisherman who was well known on the Margaree River for his love of the sport. Bill had the ability to fix just about anything and spent many hours tinkering in his garage with cars and various things. Bill worked for 30+ years at Breton Ability Centre (formally Braemore Home) where he was much loved by the staff and clients alike, he was known for his kind heart and patience.
Left to mourn Bill is the love of his life Brenda "Pyke" McNeil, his sons Daniel(Monica), Michael(Jeanette), his step children Amy Stubbert, Jordan Kanne, Chelsea Kanne, and his precious grandson Allister whom he adored.
Born in Reserve Mines, he was the son of Daniel McNeil(Woodpeckers) and Margaret(McWhirter) McNeil.
Also left to mourn Bill, his living siblings John, Francie, Mickey, Coody(Anthony), Darrell, Sisters Tina MacLean, Donna MacDonald, Mary Ruth Campbell and Toni MacLean. Predeceased by Sisters Mazie Bert, Peggy MacDonald, Eva Bishop, Debbie Boutilier, Brothers George, Dan Archie, Robert, Donnie, Tommy and his Twin brother Jimmy. Special Aunts Rita, Bessie, Annie and Special Uncle Doug McNeil.
