On Monday January 4, 2016 at 84 years of age, George passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family.
Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife Vivian, daughter; Rose Mary, Sons; George (Pam) and Shane. He was honored and blessed with 6 grandchildren. George was grandfather and father to, grandchildren Brittany, Morgan and Dylan and will be dearly missed by Shane, McKayla and Katie and great-grandchild Chase, also by his sister Sarah Rose, and many nieces & nephews.
George was predeceased by his parents John and Louise, as well as 14 of his brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday January 9, 2016 at 11am in Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 10 Clyde Ave, Sydney Mines.
