Born in Fall River, a son of Arthur M. Sullivan and his wife Cheryl of Hobe Sound, Florida, he had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Joseph Case High School, class of 1975, where he was a star football player. He worked as a carpenter for the Carpenters Union for over 25 years. In the early 1980’s, he was a stripper with the “Men of Boston.”
An avid motorcyclist, he owned a Harley Davidson and enjoyed traveling the country with his wife attending various motorcycle events. Michael also loved to watch his son play football and spending time at the beach with his family.
Also surviving: 2 sons: Zackary Sullivan at home, Michael Esleeck of Coventry, RI, daughter Shelly Esleeck of the U.S. Army, sisters: Gina Martin, Linda Hudson and husband Kendall, Jodi Dupras, Lori Botelho, Beverly Martin, brother: Michael Martin, many sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was also father of the late Eric M. Sullivan
Visiting hours Friday, June 29, 2012 from 4 - 6:30 PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd Swansea with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his family. Burial private.
