Mary Motta

Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel T. and Mary (Cabral) Pacheco. She was a lifelong area resident and was educated in local schools. Mary was employed as a sewing machine operator for many years at the former Santoro Manufacturing Company and enjoyed walking and reading.

Surviving: her son in law: Louis Pestana and his wife Linda of Tiverton, RI, two sisters: Jean Vincent of Fall River and Natalie Little of Swansea, one granddaughter: Jennifer L. Black of Attleboro, two great-granddaughters: Julia A. and Jacqueline L. Black and several nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Deborah A. Pestana.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial mass on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 9AM in St. Dominic Church, 1277 GAR Highway, Swansea. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary – Sacred Heart School, c/o Jennifer Black, 31 Emerald Lane, Attleboro, MA 02703 or Bristol Elders, 1 Father Devalles Drive, Fall River, MA 02723. Funeral arrangements are in the care of WARING-SULLIVAN HOMES OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST, Swansea.
