Donna Connors died quietly at home after a short illness. Born April 28, 1947 and a lifelong resident of Swansea, Ma, she was 74 years old when she died. She was the beloved wife of Attorney John J. Connors, mother of John P. Connors and Andrea Vannier and grandmother to Jacob Connors, Nicole Vannier and Ryan Connors. She is also survived by Derek Vannier and Keirsten Connors, spouses of her children, numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Donna worked as an assistant to the tax collector for the Town of Swansea before she left to work full time in her husband’s law practice in 1996. The couple met at Pierce’s landing in Swansea in 1962, married in 1967 and spent 53 wonderful years together as husband and wife.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 in St. Louis de France, 56 Buffington Street Swansea. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Swansea. Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
