Born in Fall River, he was the cherished son of Bruce A. and Melanie (Pelletier) Demoranville, Sr.
A graduate of Joseph Case High School, Class of 1984, Buddy continued his education at Nichols College and obtained his Bachelor’s degree from UMass Dartmouth. He worked for Staffworks Group as an Account Executive. Prior to that he worked, alongside his Dad, at ABS Printing Co Inc. in West Warwick and was the former owner of Mailing Solutions, also in West Warwick.
Buddy was a self-described outdoorsmen, nature lover and history nerd. He was an avid fisherman, shell fisherman and sailor who would spend all his time on the water if he could. Buddy enjoyed searching for ancient Indian artifacts, he was a talented cook and an avid reader. Above all else, he loved being with his family and friends.
Buddy was a kind and gentle soul. He was loved by so many and had friends from all walks of life. He was personable, warm and engaging, yet he had a gift of humor that often brought great laughter to his family and friends. Buddy will be missed by many.
Besides his devoted parents, Buddy is survived by his beloved sister, Melissa B. Kenyon and her husband Steven of Swansea; three beloved nephews, Andrew S. Kenyon and his fiancée Jillian Rocha of Swansea, Nicholas P. Kenyon and his wife Jessica of Warren, RI and William T. Kenyon and his girlfriend Fallon Marchand of Swansea; his dearest friends, Lisa Carvalho Thomas, Daniel Paulhus, Bryan Gaudet and Joseph Salpietro and his former wife, Diane Eastwood of Swansea. Buddy leaves behind beloved aunts, uncles and cousins, especially his Uncle Mike who was more like a big brother.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Louis de France Church, 56 Buffinton St., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial will be private. Contributions in Buddy’s honor may be made to the Case High Scholarship Trust, PO Box 33, Swansea, MA 02777.
