Bob was born May 21, 1928 in Canmore, Alberta and later moved to Vancouver where he was raised in the English Bay area. He worked with the Vancouver Fire Department for 33 years and was an integral member of the Vancouver Firefighters Credit Union for 25 years, 7 of which he was the Credit Union Manager. Bob was an avid sportsman with a love for curling, softball, rugby, and especially golf; he travelled the world participating in many left-handed golf tournaments. He also enjoyed the Delta Seniors Men's golf club and his vacations to Maui.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Jalna, children Doug Lynch (Lorri), Lori Foreman (Tom), Cindy Conway (Martin), seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Bob was predeceased by his parents Stewart and Mary Lynch, siblings Jean, Hugh, Bill, Stewart, Sandy, James and Ronald.
