It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear dad, brother, and loyal friend. Bob is survived by his daughters Drew (13) and Brooke (11) Waterhouse; sisters Tracy Aviss of Kelowna BC, Carrie and brother-in-law Dave Stein of Langley BC; nieces Alysha Aviss and Rachel Stein; nephews Jared Aviss and Jonathan Stein; Great nephew and niece Jayden and Isla Aviss; along with 5 cousins and many many wonderful friends and extended family members. Bob is predeceased by both his parents Donald (March 11, 2013) and Linda (January 21, 2012) Waterhouse; grandparents John and Betty Waterhouse, Dennis and Daisy Wilkinson, Aunty Gail, Great Aunty Bell, and Uncle Brante.
Bob was born on November 16, 1974 in New West Minister BC and raised in Surrey BC. He moved to Hope BC in his early 30’s where he met and married his ex wife Lisa Lawlor. Bob completed his class 1 driver’s license and worked as a truck driver for many years. In 2016 while working for JD Jones Trucking, Bob got into a horrific accident that almost took his life. Bob loved the Vancouver Canucks, camping with his girls and all his buddies at the Tram (Othello), was a huge part of the derby world and loved volunteering at Brigade Days in Hope.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a Trust Fund has been set up for his girl’s at CIBC Wood Gundy. Please make cheques out to “CIBC World Market ITF”, on the memo line please put 50% Drew and 50% Brooke Waterhouse.
