I met Pete a few times at events of Franjo's. When you meet new people at a wedding, it's rare for someone to really stand out as being so extremely likeable and conversational as Pete was. I remember him fondly and was shocked and saddened to hear of his diagnosis. My deep sympathies for your loss.

We are so  very sorry to hear of Peter’s passing.  We grew up with Peter living across the street .  The Franchi family has always been so kind and generous and one of our dearest neighbours.    Our condolences  Martina, Lou (Emy), Jenny and Cindy.  

The San Pedro Family 

I met Pete and his family during folklore in the 80’s when we danced for the Filipino pavilion. We had so much growing up and hanging out. We reconnected  15 years later and remained friends. 

Pete was always fun to be around, full of life and energy. You just can’t help but gravitate towards him. I am very saddened he’s no longer with us. I’ll always remember his infectious smile. My condolences to the Franchi family.

I knew Pete from our Sunday nights playing hockey. Pete, like most of us, played to remember a part of our childhood, to be together with the boys, to have a beer together, and to feel like we belonged.
Pete belonged to our group and will be missed.

Pete and I were friends growing up in the Bayridge area of Kingston. We spent many summer days playing tennis, basketball or just swimming in our pool. Then we went on to work at Fort Henry together. Two years ago we got together in Kingston along with Jay and Blair, had a few beers, wings and lots of laughs! Never would of thought that was the last time we would see each other. Pete will be missed!! My condolences to the whole family and all of their friends. RIP friend!!!

Dear Martina and family, it’s difficult to provide any words that can comfort when the loss is so tremendous. Peter was a man of action, and his actions were how he showed love. He was the first in line to help a friend and his generosity of time and spirit will never be forgotten. He will be missed, and always remembered. Condolences and love on behalf of the Tsourpis family. 

Sending love and condolences to all the Franchi family members and the many people affected by the loss of Pete.  It’s been 35 years since I was blessed to be in his joyful and happy presence and I am grateful for the sweet memories he helped cultivate. The love and kindness he radiated shines through his smiling eyes in the many beautiful photos shared here. Pete, like his family, was kind-hearted and always smiling. I will always remember him smiling as we walked through Riverside Park in NYC - on our way to grab a few drinks and laughs at his sister Jennifer’s favorite bar.  It was a good day.

I met Peter along with his sister, Cynthia, through volleyball in Kingston when we played for the Pegasus Club.  Somehow I was fortunate enough to be invited to play a tournament with them and I had the best time.  It blossomed into years of friendship, laughs, and great ball (and wins!).  I can't help but smile whenever I think of the Franchi sibs....and I'm sure I'm not the only one.  The brightest stars shine so briefly, but we are blessed to have seen it!  Much love and condolences to the family.  

My friend Cynthia introduced me to her brother Peter with such pride. After spending only a few moments with Peter you could tell why she was so proud of such a charismatic,  smart and fun fellow. It was only a short time I was able spend with him but the great loss accompanied by his passing is apparent. My heart goes out to this family.

I was introduced to Peter by my friend Cynthia, Peter's sister.  I had the opportunity to hang out with Peter a few times and also consult many times about travel.  I wish we were able to hang out more.  I am feeling for the entire family during this awful time.
