She was predeceased by her husband Lionel in 1996. She is survived by her three sons, Bob (Shirley), Mike, Tom (Teresa); granddaughter Monique; great granddaughter Alexandra; sister Hannah of New Brunswick; brother Tom Jr. (Brenda) of the Sunshine Coast. She is also survived by her step-grandson David Hunter (Sharleen) and step-granddaughter Cheyanna.
Martha was born in Sussex, New Brunswick and, along with her husband and three children, relocated to Vancouver in 1963. She liked to travel and went to Hawaii on numerous occasions and to many countries in Europe including the United Kingdom.
The family would like to thank the staff at Broadway Pentecostal Lodge for their kind attention to Martha over the last 2 ½ years and also the doctors and nurses at VGH’s 11th floor geriatric unit for their care and attention in her final days.
