It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kim MacNeill age 65 of Surrey BC announce her passing on Friday, August 6, 2021, while in the care of Surrey Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hornepayne, Ontario, she was the daughter of Patsy Lynn and Ross Malcolm MacNeill of Moncton New Brunswick.
Kim attended Harrison Trimble High School and later studied Psychology at the Moncton Community College.
Kim was beautiful, creative, loving, and could entertain anybody for hours with her stories. She enjoyed playing with her dog, London Mary and being with her family the most.
Kim grew up in Moncton NB, eventually moved to Quebec for a few years of her life, and then moved and settled in beautiful British Columbia. Kim was an amazing mother to 4 beautiful daughters and a grandmother and even a great grandmother. Kim loved family and would talk on the phone for hours with her mother, her daughters and enjoyed every moment together.
Kim will always be remembered for her beautiful porcupine quill jewelry, clam digging, and love for Parlee beach, lobster, and dulse. She always lit up the room and loved to sing and play the guitar.
She will never be forgotten; she was a spirit like no other. Her laughter was infectious, her touch was so soothing, her voice was the calm on a stormy day, and although she will be missed dearly, she will always live in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Kim will be remembered by her parents Patsy Lynn (Jones) and Ross Malcolm MacNeill of Moncton NB; sister Allison Johnson (Terry) of Moncton NB; daughters, Reagen Jade Jardine of Surrey BC, Iara Sunyadda Hall (Jason) of Surrey BC, Allysha Taylor Caldwell of Edmonton Alberta, Alanna Lillian MacNeill of Surrey BC; grandchildren Tyler Petitpas of Surrey BC, Donathon Green of Surrey BC, Rudy Thomas of Surrey BC, Tariq Thomas of Surrey BC, Alexis Hall of Surrey BC, Savannah Hall of Surrey BC; great grandchild Linkoln Petitpas of Langley BC.
Kim was predeceased by her grandmother and grandfather, Lillian (Sherwood) and Leslie Jones of Moncton NB.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this time.
Cremation and a small private service will take place at the Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre in White Rock BC on Tuesday, August 24th at 1:00pm.
