James Gordon (Jim) Coyle, of Surrey BC, after a life well lived, passed away on August 26th, 2022 with his daughter Patti and granddaughter Jennifer at his side. Jim was predeceased by his wife Lois, special friend Bev, his sister Marion, brother Joey and parents, Hazel and Owen and grandson Derek. He is survived by his four children, Patti (Randy) Sue, (Sue), Kathleen (Reg), Jim (Linda), his granddaughters, Jennifer who was his caregiver and close friend the past years, Melodie, Joleen, Julia and Laura, grandsons, Mark, Chris, Raymond and Sean. Greatgrandchildren, Nick, Samantha, Carley, Jake, Alexandra and Myles and one great, great granddaughter, Natalia.
Jim was a well-respected Longshoreman, member of the ILWA, retired after 43 years on the Vancouver waterfront. He loved to fish and hunt and lived life the way he wanted to, he was most proud of his family. He was affectionately known as “King Grampa” the patriarch of the family. He will be truly missed.
