William Russell Preston

2020 at his home in Buckeye, Arizona. He was 71 years old. Born in Ohio and raised in Southern

California, Rusty married his first wife and mother to his three children, Beverly Ann Ohl in

1967. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in which he served until May,

1980.

After leaving the Army, he began his career in the medical field, spending the rest of his

working years as an engineer repairing medical imaging equipment ranging from X-ray

machines to CT Scanners. He retired in 2010 and moved to Arizona where he lived out the

remainder of his time.

Rusty was preceded in death by his first-born daughter, Tesha Lynn Preston, and is survived by

his Brother John Preston, Son Wes Preston, Daughter Tammy Hadaway, 5 Grandchildren and 2

Great Grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at Surprise Funeral Care, located at 16063 W. Bell Rd., Surprise,

AZ 85374 on Saturday, January 11th beginning with a viewing at 2pm for family and 3pm for

everyone else wishing to pay their respects. The viewing will be followed with a ceremony,

beginning at 4pm and a catered reception immediately following the ceremony, at the same

location.
