It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald Jay Feebeck announce that on Wednesday May 26th at 5:25 am Ron, beloved Father, Husband, Gramps, Brother, Son and Friend passed away at home in Buckeye, AZ after his two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer.
Ron was born on March 31, 1943 in Paris, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father Bud and his mother Elnora. He is survived by his wife Barb, his children Michael, Kimberly, Bryon, Franklin, and his Son in-law John, his brothers Gary and Darrell and his grandchildren Kiara, Tristan, Brooklyn, Remington, Delilah, Leah, and Noah. He was a proud Marine, Semper Fi and a Law Enforcement Officer for over 30 years.
Ron came to Oregon and started work with the Beaverton Police Department in the early 70’s than transferred to Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office in 1982. He did a short-term employment with the Port of Portland Police because of his love of airplanes but found the work not so challenging and came back to the S.O. until he retired in 2000.
Ron had a love/hate relationship with golf as we all know. He flew RC planes, was a member of AMA and added a DJI drone to his collection. He loved to geocache and go into the desert with the ATV group in Festival.
He was a Warrior and Protector. He had a wickedly funny but dry sense of humor that endeared him to people and made us laugh. He was a lover of all animals big and small, especially dogs. He especially loved the friendships he made doing the things he loved. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Desert in the Fall. Ron was cared for by Hospice of the Valley whose staff members were exceptional, caring, attentive and overall great. You are welcome to donate to them in honor of Ron. Love, Love, Love.
