Aunt Mary...so many of my best childhood memories come from you and hanging out with you, Katrina, and Uncle Grant. Your house was the hub of the family (besides Grandma's of course), and I loved all the times we got together. I loved all the stories you shared of your childhood, of Grandpa and Grandma. And I loved it when you'd play the piano and accordion for me! I miss you here, but I know you're only a love thought away!

Sweet, sweet Mary.  Always super-pleasant, helpful and professional.  A great help to me, personally at GCC - always ready to participate in whatever crazy promotion or stunt I dreamt up.  All my best wishes to her family.  All of us in her GCC family will miss her as well.

I first met Mary at LA Pierce College when we started the Legal Secretarial Science courses.  I loved how she was so determined to get her AA degree and be successful.  She was such an inspiration to me.  I enjoyed studying with her and going over to her house to just talk and have fun.  I will truly miss her!  She was a wonderful, kind, and strong woman.  Best of all, a dear friend that I could count on when I need advice.

I first met Mary when my son married her daughter Katrina. She was a kind and gentle soul and I am blessed to have known her. Mary raised an incredible daughter and the love of my sons life. My deepest condolences to Katrina and all her extended family. And thank-you for the beautiful service to honor Mary. She will be greatly missed. Phyllis

Copenhaver Family, so sorry to hear about your Mom, she was a great Lady. I started working in the Valley again about 2 yrs ago and drive by your old house in Reseda at least once a week. It brings back a lot of memories of your Dad helping me with my car and your Mom yelling at two little knucklehead boys. Again, sorry for your loss and hope you are all doing well.

Grandma,
You were like a second mother to me and Christian! You were an even better grandmother! I'll always cherish the moments I've spent with you, especially in these last few years! I am extremely grateful for all the things you did for me! I'll always miss having you here but at least you're in a better place! I love you so much!

My mom-in-law Mary was ALWAYS so kind to me.  I have so many great memories of her and I talking, laughing and both just shaking our heads as the kids went crazy at Christmas... Way too much fun stuff!  I will treasure these many memories, honor her always and look forward to dancing with her in Heaven just like we did when I married my best friend and her beautiful daughter Kris.

I am so very grateful to have had the parents that I had.  They taught me to work hard and to care for other people.  They were examples of what good Samaritans were supposed to be like!  I have so many fond memories of when our Aunts & Uncles would come over, eat pie and play cards!!  So much fun! Mamma, you will be missed. My Mom, Alverta Copenhaver Bobb, talked many times about wishing she could visit her brother and sister, Grant and Betty and their families. She had not seen them for many years. I take comfort in knowing she is finally reunited with so much of her family. My prayers to the cousins I have not yet met and their families during this time of transition. God bless.

My dear Aunt Mary, how thankful i am that i had a chance to see you last year. I have always loved you and some of my best childhood memories were with you, Uncle Grant and all my crazy cousins. How excited we were when Daddy would tell us "to get ready because were going to Aunt Mary and Uncle Grant's house"! Your home was the hub and we all had so much fun growing up together in your house, eating your famous spaghetti and cole slaw, running around the house acting like crazies while our Mama's and Aunties gossiped and our Papas and Uncles hung out together with a couple of cold ones.
