Karen Joan Terry

Cremation rites will be performed per Karen's wishes. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on October 24, 2015 at Surprise Funeral Care 16063 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, Arizona 85374 at 10:00am. Inurnment will take place at Oakdale Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, Michigan at a later date.

Karen J. Walker was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 4, 1942 to Allan and Helen (Lenard) Walker. She married Ronald E. Terry on November 16, 1985.

Karen retired from the Rock Island Arsenal after many years of service. She spent her retirement years enjoying life with Ron in Arizona golfing as often as possible, playing bridge and playing mahjong with her many friends.

Karen is survived by her loving husband, daughters Sherrie Luke, St. Pete Beach, FL, Nancy Poelvoorde (Dave), Boca Raton, FL, Dawn Daniel (Bill), Gilbert, AZ, sons, Ron Terry (Lisa), Mesa, AZ, Adam Terry (Trindle), Queen Creek, AZ, Grandchildren, Ashley Rickle (Todd), Sarah Toole (Nate), Dylan Luke (Sam), Julia Poelvoorde, Paige Poelvoorde, Adam Daniel, Xavier Terry, Cyrus Terry, Ryan Terry, Matthew Terry, 5 great-grandchildren as well as her extended family and many dear friends who will also greatly miss her genuine, caring personality.
