George Charles Haddad, 71 passed away at home on October 8, 2024. Born on October 19, 1952, in Cleveland, OH, he was the beloved son of George and Seamone Haddad and cherished brother to Joseph, Charles, and Rose.
George met his wife, Carol Hornibrook, in Tucson, AZ, and they were married on May 26, 1985. Together, they created a loving home, raising their children George III, Megan, Olivia and Danielle who fondly remembers their father as a guiding light and unwavering supporter. George was the greatest Jido to Elena and Emma and loved his granddaughters with all his heart.
An alumnus of the University of Texas El Paso, George had a passion for comics, particularly Marvel and DC, and his family referred to him as their very own Superman. He was known for his warm heart, sense of humor, and the countless funny stories he would tell.
George's life was defined by his kindness and his love for his family. He was a devoted Christian, instilling strong values in his children and grandchildren, emphasizing the importance of love and compassion.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 20th, at Surprise Funeral Care, located at 16063 W Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374. A viewing and visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 to 2:30 PM. The service will begin at 2:30 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM.
