Dale William Hargrave

Dale William Hargrave, 79 of San Tan Valley, AZ and formerly of Fifty Lakes, MN for 25 years, passed away suddenly on June 19, 2012 with his family near his side. He was born on November 29, 1932 in Charles City, Iowa, one of seven children of Theodore W. and Florence J. (nee Huber) Hargrave. Being a sportsman, Dale had a passion for the outdoor wilderness, he was a humanitarian, always involved and giving to the communities he and Bette made their home. Dale also enjoyed a game of cards and socializing with his many friends. Dale served his country honorably in the United States Navy, during the Korean Conflict. Dale is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Bette Lou Hargrave; his loving daughter Susan (Dana) McAdams; 5 loving sons John (Theresa) McNeil, William (Diane) McNeil, Daniel (Stephanie) McNeil, Michael McNeil and Troy Hargrave; 11 dear grandchildren; 3 loving brothers Jim (Shari) Hargrave, Lyle (Betty) Hargrave and Leroy (Carolyn) Hargrave and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dale is preceded in death by his one sister Norma Bock, and two brothers Marvin and Gene Hargrave. The Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with the Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W. Bell Rd., Surprise, AZ with fellowship and refreshment immediately following in the Surprise Funeral Care Hospitality Room.
