William Wayne Wiley passed on to be with his Lord and Savior on December 8, 2019. He was 85 years old. Wayne Wiley was born in Bear Creek, Alabama. He went to school in Bear Creek where he completed 10th grade, before being called to help on the family farm. For a short time, Wayne drove a lumber truck to Detroit in order to make a living. In 1957 he moved to Fresno, California and became a butcher at Country Boy Market. He was involved in church and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He will be greatly missed by his wife of almost 63 years, Martha Wiley. Wayne was a simple man, who liked the simple things in life. There were two things that put the biggest smiles on his face, his granddaughters - Samantha and Sabrina. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents D.O. and Ada Wiley, his sisters: Alma Golden, Elva Harlow, and WilloDean Abney, his brothers: Grant, Hollis, and Dillard (D.O.) Wiley, and his daughter Nancy Wiley. He is survived by his wife Martha, his son W. Scott Wiley (Diane), and his granddaughters: Samantha and Sabrina Wiley. Visitation will be held at Sunland Mortuary from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2019. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the interment to immediately follow at Sunland Memorial Park.
