Born Waukesha Wis. To Roland & Evelin L. Tyler (Kiewert) residing in Genesee Wis.
She married to Wayne Stafford Wardrop from Genesee Depot Wis. on Sept 16th 1944.
She is survived by sons: Donald Wayne Wardrop (Don) spouse Denise: and Harold Allen Wardrop (Hal) and spouse Diane. Grand children include: Jacquelyn Renee Wardrop (Jarmin), Bryan Andrew Wardrop, & Laura Marie Wardrop (Abate’) as well as great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by siblings: Janice Blumer, Sandra Peterson, and Betty Anne Gantz and many of her sisters and brothers offspring.
Shirley was an accomplished musician; playing piano, organ, guitar, and others. As a singer she sang in several duets and Trios. Shirley was always artistic through her life; working with painting, ceramics, basket weaving, quilting, and other mediums. She worked in the banking industry in Wisconsin and later in Sun City AZ. She taught crafts, had her own ceramics studio, and worked with the Waukesha county extension service to teach crafts to the Blackfoot Tribe.
Shirley resided in Genesee Depot Wis. most of her life, moving to Sun City Az in 1982 with her husband Wayne. She was ordained in the ministry Oct 26th 1997 and worked with the Powerhouse Church including mission trips to Africa.
Wife, caregiver, mother, grandmother, minister. There are not enough adjectives to describe this wonderful soul.
