Nancy Pauline McAllister Dickson, 77 of Sun City, AZ, left for heaven on July 8, 2013. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she met her life love, James Doyle Dickson. Nancy, Doyle and their children moved to Arizona 48 years ago. She gave a new meaning to the title “HOMEmaker”. Nancy was truly: A PRESENCE THAT MADE AN IMPACT, AN ABSENCE THAT WILL BE FELT. Her deep involvement in the lives of her children and their friends made their home a welcome place for all. Nancy was loved for many, many reasons but her family would be quick to say, her quick wit, total honesty, fiery spirit and sparkle in her beautiful brown eyes will be sorely missed.
Nancy will be busy getting things ready for those who are to follow. Those blessed people include: her beloved husband of 60 ¾ years, James Doyle Dickson; her amazing children, Rick Dickson and his beautiful wife Sharon, Cindy Dickson Porter, Tom, Amber and Stephen Porter, and her incredible grand-children, Thomas Porter, Christa Esquibel, Cassidy Eddy, MadiJo Porter, Chelsea Dickson and Clayton Dickson; and her fabulous great grand-children, Blythe, Brynnlee, Teak, Pepper, Grady, Roy and Shep, with another great blessing on the way!
The family has suggested any tangible expression of love be sent to Sunshine Services, 9980 Sante Fe Drive, Sun City, AZ 85351, as a return of the blessing they had been to the family. (http://sunshineservice.org)
A celebration of her life here will be held at 10:00 am on Monday July 15th, 2013 at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
