June L Peterson (Nelson), 77, passed away peacefully at home in Peoria, AZ on June 14. June was born on March 18, 1939 to Leonard and Gertrude Nelson (Kraetzner) in Sandstone, MN. She married the love of her life, Kurt Peterson of Jordan, MN on March 17, 1962 in Bloomington, MN and shortly thereafter relocated to Phoenix, AZ. She lived life to the fullest and spent her time with friends and family and loved to entertain. Her love and compassion for others will always be treasured. For each of us left with a heavy heart not a day will go by without thinking of her. With tears and smiles she leaves behind her sons Chris (Gina) and Bret, grandson Tate, sisters Joyce Hane, Janice Cyphers and Judith Kessler, sisters-in-law Sandra Hessing and Doris Peterson and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Kurt of 50 years and her parents Leonard and Gertrude. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 7th at 1:30 at Peace Lutheran Church, 18265 N. 89th Ave., Peoria, AZ 85382.
