Betty 90, passed away on March 3, 2012 in Peoria, AZ. Born in Peoria, Illinois on April 27, 1921 to Harold and Ruth Livingston. She was a graduate of Woodruff High school class of 1939. She worked as an Optician in Peoria, IL for 25 years. She married William “Joe” Drake in Stockton, CA on July 14, 1943. He died on December 31, 1973. She married Burril Smith on June 26, 1977, until he died on March 10, 2011 in Peoria, AZ where they spent 35 years together. She was preceded in death by sisters, Lois, Ruth Ann Baker, and brother, Bob Livingston. Betty is survived by her sister-in-laws, Shirley (Marvin) Bohls and Barbara (Clark) Seppelt and 12 loving nieces and nephews. Cremation Accorded. A memorial service will be held in her honor on a later date in Peoria, IL. Memorials in Betty’s honor may be sent to: Hospice of Arizona or Mt. Hawley Community Church in Peoria Illinois.
