Terri Martel

She was a native of Lake Charles and had been a resident of Sulphur for over 30 years. She worked as a Drafter Supervisor with Conoco and retired after 30 years of service. Terri's horses were everything to her. She enjoyed taking care of not only her horses, but also her dogs, and also spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Paul Martel of Sulphur; her daughter, Amelia Densmore and husband, Billy of Prairieville; step children, Rose Marie Martel and Paul Thomas Martel, Jr., both of Lake Charles; her brothers, Stewart Keith of Longville and Greg Halker of Lake Charles; her grandchildren, Dakota Densmore, Tristan Densmore, Noah Densmore, Zoe Grace Densmore, Claire Dugas, Howard Boutte, Sadie Martel, and one on the way; and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister, Tracy John; and her step-daughter, Lacy Anne Martel.
