Linda Lee (Driskill) Labbe

She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was born in Barnsdall, OK . She loved spending time with her fellow Mermaids at SPAR Water Aerobics, gardening at her house, and dancing to cajun music with Papa. She loved everything her family took part in and was an avid fan of all their sports and activities.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years; Michael Labbe; daughters Lorie Labbe of Lake Charles, Lisa LeMaire (Chad) of Baton Rouge, Jennifer Buford (Lancey) of Iowa, and Teri Brame (John) of Maplewood; eleven grandchildren, Trace (Jenni), Lakyn, Tate, Madeline (Anthony), Emily (Logan), Hallie (Josh), Garrett, Blaine, LeeAnn, John Michael, and Kate; seven great-grandchildren, Rhyder, Gabby, Bowen, Millie, Georgia, Brett, Kai and Jay.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents of Piney and Lee Driskill.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Sunday, November 10, 2024 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Mimosa Pines South. The Rev. Timothy Goodly will officiate at the services.
