He was born on January 17, 1955 in Sulphur, LA to his parents, J.C. & Barbara Henry. He was a native of Sulphur and spent his retired years fishing on the lake at Toledo Bend. Larry was an Electrician by trade and a jokester at heart, you could always count on a good laugh when he was around. His kind heart, love of chocolate, and his free spirit are just a few things he will be remembered for. But most of all he will be remembered for his love of his family, there was no greater time than family time for Larry.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Danny Henry. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Leslie Cubbage and husband, Charles of Sulphur; son, Justin Henry and wife, Elaine of Lake Charles; brothers, Andy Henry and wife, Kelly of Marble Falls, Texas and Greg Henry and wife, Amy of Sulphur; five grandchildren, Jackson, Oliver and Samuel Henry, and Kaden and Kasidee Cubbage; numerous nieces; and one nephew.
A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home, led by Jody Barrilleaux, Celebrant. Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
