She was a native of Pawhuska, Oklahoma and had been a resident of Sulphur for the last 62 years coming from Oklahoma. Kathryn was a member of First Christian Church and enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her two daughters, Glenda O'Quinn and husband, Russell of Carlyss and Myra Kay Hoffpauir of Sulphur; four grandchildren, Angie Hoffpauir and husband, Robert, Tammy Suarez and husband, Robert, Kim Hardy and husband, Bob, and Brian Morris Hoffpauir; nine great-grandchildren, Emma, Elliot, Audrey, and Addie Hoffpauir, Raygan and Kathryn Suarez, and Kali, Harley, and MaKenzie Hardy; and her special friend and her family, Diana and Billy Trahan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Myron M. Law; and her sister, Vivian Vaughan.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Dr. Michael Dickson will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
