Kaleigh Katherine Fontenot

She was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles/Sulphur area and was a 2013 graduate of Sulphur High School. Kaleigh enjoyed spending time with her boys, especially going to their t-ball and baseball games, and hanging out with her friends.

Survivors include her children, Blayze Adam Rechy and Ayden Jude Rechy of Lake Charles; her siblings, Emily Claire Mahfouz of Monroe, and Adam Michael Mahfouz and Madelyn Grace Mahfouz, both of Marksville; her grandmother, Patricia Woods of Sulphur; and her mother, Amy Fontenot. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, A.J. Woods.

A Celebration of Kaleigh's Life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home led by Hixson Celebrant, Jody Barrilleaux. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Pallbearers will be Adam Michael Mahfouz, Benjamin Kickle, Jordan Bradley, Jerome Picou, Jonathan Vallette, and Phillip Head.
