John Douglas Mansell (Doug) of Sulphur died October 5, 2017 at a local hospital.
He was born August 28, 1942 in Freeport, TX. Doug was a Chemist at PPG for 42 years holding 13 patents for PPG’s processes.
He is survived by his wife Sherry, son Erich and wife, Leslie all of Sulphur, and son Kevin and wife Whitney of Bavaria Germany. Doug had seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents – Tommye & Dick Mansell.
Doug’s Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 PM November 11, 2017 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 301 Center Circle, Sulphur, LA with Pastors Erich and Leslie Mansell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to any of the Faith Based Disaster Relief Organizations; Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or your favorite Charity.
