John "J. W." Landry

J.W. was born on July 28, 1931 in Ged, Louisiana to Sydney and Eucharist Landry. He worked for over 35 years as an Operator for Schlumberger Offshore. J.W. was known to have a big heart and would help anyone in need. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Those left behind to cherish his memories are twin daughters, Carla Eucharist Landry of Sulphur and Joni Margo Landry of Orange, TX; step-son, Danny LeJeune of Moss Bluff; five grandchildren, Danielle LeJeune, Emily Welch, Abbigail Guidroz(Russell II), Hayley Hollie and Ronnie Hollie; brother, Grady Landry and wife, Regina of Austin, TX; sister, Glenda Landry of Houston, TX; sister, Shawnee Frantom and husband, Bobby of Spring, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sydney and Eucharist Landry.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Reverend Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-9 p.m. Friday with a Rosary at 7 p.m. and will resume at 8:30 a.m. until a time of service on Saturday all at the funeral home.
