She was a lifelong resident of Hackberry. Jeanette enjoyed taking care of her dog, Fritzi, cooking, gardening, reading, driving her golf cart, sitting outside on her swing, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, James Constance, Jr of Vinton, John Constance and wife, Amy of Moss Bluff, Lisa Logue and husband, Thomas of Sulphur, and Martha Constance of Charleston, South Carolina; her siblings, Tommy Stoddard of Hackberry and June Stoddard of Oakdale; and ten grandchildren, Byron Romero, Seth Romero, Edward Spencer, Isabella Spencer, Peyton Potts, Christian Bourriague, Courtney Blood, Gage Ford, Arabella Constance, and Kruz Constance. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertie Mae Stoddard; and a sister, Linda Feeter.
Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Timothy Goodly will officiate. Burial will be in Hackberry Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary service at 6 p.m., and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday in the funeral home.
