She was a native of Elmore City, Okla., and had been a resident of Sulphur for many years before moving to Lowell, Ark. Frances was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and a lifetime member of Chapter #28, Order of the Eastern Star in Bentonville, Ark. She loved to cook and entertain family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Glenn Nolan Jones of Lowell, Ark., and Virginia Ann Jones and husband Bob of Sulphur; five grandchildren, Shantay Peloquin and husband Preston of Dallas, Texas, Derek Babineaux of Houston, Texas, Nolan Jones of Lowell, Ark., John Jones of Spring Hill, Tenn., and Kimberly Buhrman of Austin, Texas; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Glenn Highfill Jones; two sisters; and six brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, in Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Lowell, Ark. Pastor Gary Thomas will officiate.
