She was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Darla enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and fishing. She had worked as the Cafeteria Manager for Henning Elementary School for over 20 years.
Survivors include her children, William "Bill" Kellebrew and wife, Natalie of Jennings and Joshua Kellebrew and wife, Casey of Sulphur; her mother, Billie Rose Vincent of Carlyss; father-in-law, Clifton J. Kellebrew, Sr; her sisters, Theresa Vincent and spouse, Genia Fontenot, Tammy Landry and husband, Travis of Lacassine, and Valerie White of Sulphur; eight grandchildren, Brooklyn, Katelyn, Mason, Emily, Alissa, Logan, Karter, and Charlee; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Lauren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton J. Kellebrew, Jr; her father, John Henry Vincent; and her mother-in-law, Verbelee Smith Kellebrew.
A Celebration of Darla's Life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, January 14, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel led by Jody Barrilleaux, Celebrant. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday in the funeral home.
