Curtis Eugene Deason, 67, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He was born on March 12, 1957 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Curtis was a carpenter by trade and was very talented. In his early years, some of his hobbies included hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Avery Deason; children, Billy Deason and Tiffany Landry, all of Sulphur, Louisiana; brother, Billy Scott Deason of Sulphur, Louisiana; and his sister, Carolyn Giovanni of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Curtis is preceded in death by his father, Billy M. Deason; grandmother, Ruby Hayes; grandfather, Earl George Avery; along with his step grandfather, Cecil Hayes.
A Celebration of Curtis's life will be held at a later date.
